Comes to Netflix Oct. 15 – Lovett to speak in Awareness Month Crash Course Oct. 27
As of October 15 – one week after World Sight Day – Netflix, the global leader in subscription internet television with over 50 million members in more than 40 countries, will begin carrying Going Blind: Coming out of the Dark About vision Loss. Now more people will have one more way to access the film and discover its message about the importance of educating people on how to cope with low vision issues and therapy.
We are very pleased that Netflix is joining Itunes and Amazon Instant Video in featuring Going Blind and getting the word out about ways to deal with vision loss. Of course, the film can still be streamed or ordered off our website. All proceeds we receive go back into getting the word out about vision loss and how to deal with it.
If you already have Netflix, simply log in and search for Going Blind on or after October 15th. If you do not have it, go to www.Netflix.com to set up an account and have access to their vast entertainment and educational library of content.
**Joe Lovett, Director of the film Going Blind, will kick off Art Beyond Sight’s annual Awareness Month Telephone Crash Course, Monday, October 27 from 8:30 – 9:30 AM (EST).
Visit the Awareness Month website for more details.
