The Contemporary Jewish Museum is celebrating Awareness Month with a special Art Beyond Sight Musical Tour. Various musical guests, including local choir Awesome Orchestra and banjo player Roger H. Siminoff, perform songs highlighting the The Museum’s architecture and current exhibitions. People who have low-vision or who are blind can explore the exhibition through sensory tools, verbal description, and music. These features allow visitors to experience The Museum in a new dimension.
Access the video from last year’s Art Beyond Sight Musical Tour here. This video shows the Lick Wilmerding High School Choir singing “Famine Song” by Matthew Culluton in response to Teresita Fernandez’s Fire, as part of the Beyond Belief: 100 Years of the Spiritual in Modern Art at The Contemporary Jewish Museum.
